Here at Yes No Maybe we’re still delighted that the world didn’t end when those boffins in Switzerland switched on their black hole machine on Wednesday.
We don’t know much about science books, but we LOVE enormous gleaming machinery and photos of international supervillain-style underground lairs that put Blofeld’s to shame. It’s not rocket science…it’s much, much more complicated than that. Go boffins.

actually, the world did end, but was instantaneously recreated exactly as it was before the black hole was created. did i say “exactly”? some people were atomically reconstituted with super-powers. you read it here first…
Unfortunately, I was one of the less fortunate ones who didn’t make it. Internet still works down here though, so not all doom and gloom.
